Dylan Mefford is Senior Counsel at Keller/Anderle, where he focuses on complex commercial litigation.

Before joining Keller/Anderle, Dylan practiced for seven years at Gibson Dunn & Crutcher LLP in Los Angeles, concentrating on international litigation and offensive actions.  He was part of the team that represented Chevron Corporation in defeating the recognition and enforcement of a $9.5 billion Ecuadorian judgment procured by fraud, corruption, and bribery, helping to expose what The Wall Street Journal called the “legal fraud of the century.”

Dylan also practiced at a premier litigation boutique in Dallas, Texas, where he handled complex commercial disputes, including defending a multibillion-dollar lender liability case, pursuing international trade secret and breach of contract claims, and representing a technology company in an international copyright case.

Dylan has published and presented on a range of topics in international litigation, including jurisdiction, extraterritoriality, comparative law, the Alien Tort Statute, and the recognition and enforcement of foreign judgments.  An accomplished public speaker, Dylan has won numerous competitions in both prepared and extemporaneous speaking.

Dylan earned his law degree in 2009 from the University of Michigan, where he graduated cum laude and served as a contributing editor of the Michigan Law Review.  He graduated from Stanford University in 2005, with a Master of Arts degree in Sociology and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science with departmental honors.

Between college and law school, Dylan lived in Guatemala for a year, where he volunteered with a nonprofit, teaching mathematics and literature, in Spanish, to students seeking to overcome poverty and abuse.  He is proficient in Spanish and is currently learning Russian.
