Stephanie received her law degree from the University of California, Irvine School of Law. She was a member of the UC Irvine Law Review Executive Board from 2015-16, and was a Lead Article Editor the previous year.  Stephanie earned the law school’s Pro Bono Achievement Award three years running in recognition of her work for the Domestic Violence Assistance Program, Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (the Dream program), the Elder Abuse Clinic, and The New Way of Life Re-Entry Project (helping successful probationers gain expungement of criminal convictions).  Stephanie received the Dean’s Award in the Domestic Violence clinic and in the Legal and Social Responses to Domestic Violence seminar.

Stephanie is a magna cum laude graduate of the University of California at Riverside. She was a member of the Gamma Beta Phi Honor Society and earned recognition on the Chancellor’s List.

While in law school Stephanie worked as a student attorney for the Domestic Violence Clinic, where she prepared her clients’ cases for trial and appeared before family law court judges. She was an extern for the U.S. Attorney’s Office Criminal Branch in Riverside in the summer of 2015, where she conducted research and wrote memoranda on a wide variety of topics, prepared an opposition to a motion to compel discovery, and drafted case summaries and indictment memos. Additionally, in the summer of 2014 Stephanie was a judicial extern for the Honorable Deborah Saltzman of the U.S. Bankruptcy Court in Los Angeles.

Stephanie is an active member of the Orange County legal community. She led the firm to win a silver partnership award in the Food from the Bar campaign, a program that raises money and food for the hungry in Orange County. Stephanie also volunteers her time with the Orange County Bar Association at events such as the OCBA Super Pet Adoption.
