Anand Sambhwani

On July 7, 2023, Lawdragon announced the inclusion of Anand in its inaugural “500 X – The Next Generation” list. The list recognizes lawyers across practice areas “who will define where the legal profession of our country goes” and have “blown down the walls of private practice, amassing courtroom victories, leading deals and protecting IP and civil rights.”

Anand’s trial experience includes working with the Commercial Litigation Branch of the United States Department of Justice in Washington, D.C. While at “Main Justice” he first-chaired trials involving more than $100 million in dispute, and second-chaired trials with over $300 million at stake. For his outstanding work, Mr. Sambhwani won the DOJ Civil Division’s Special Commendation Award (November 2017).

While at K/A, Anand was honored with a “2019 California Lawyer Attorneys of the Year” award for his role as second chair in Yellowstone Women’s First Step House, Inc., et al. v. City of Costa Mesa.
