Kay Anderle a nationally prominent attorney and managing partner of Keller/Anderle LLP in Irvine, has been named to the White Collar Criminal Defense category of the 2019 “Southern California Super Lawyers.” Ms. Anderle has been selected annually since 2015.

Super Lawyers is a rating service of outstanding lawyers from a wide range of practice areas who have attained a high-degree of peer recognition and professional achievement. The selection process is multi-phased and includes independent research, peer nominations and peer evaluations.

Ms. Anderle is a Fellow of the Litigation Counsel of America, an invitation-only organization limited to the top one-half of one percent of the nation’s attorneys. She was awarded the 2016 Thomas A. Mesereau Cup for Outstanding Criminal Defense, given by the Litigation Counsel of America. Ms. Anderle is listed in the elite “The Best Lawyers in America®” in both white collar and general practice criminal defense, and was selected as Orange County Lawyer of the Year 2014 (Criminal Defense: Non-White Collar). Other honors and awards have included: National Trial Lawyers, Top 100 Trial Lawyers in California; and Martindale-Hubbell “AV” rated.

    Founded in 1950, the College is composed of the best of the trial bar from the United States and Canada. Fellowship in the College is extended by invitation only. Lawyers must have a minimum of fifteen years trial experience before they can be considered for Fellowship. Membership in the College cannot exceed one percent of the total lawyer population of any state or province.

  • Government drops plans to use Costa Mesa facility as coronavirus quarantine site

    Keller/Anderle’s successful application for a temporary restraining order led the state and federal governments to announce Friday they would abandon their plan to use the Fairview Developmental Center in Costa Mesa to quarantine coronavirus patients.

    The action was to stop a possible plan by state and federal agencies to use the Fairview Developmental Center to house and quarantine people with the coronavirus. Jennifer Keller, an attorney for the city, said Friday evening that it is hard to reconcile how Fairview could be suitable for coronavirus quarantine when it had recently been deemed unfit for a homeless shelter without extensive improvements.
